I was looking for a nice watch that was both durable and functional, geared towards the Military or Law Enforcement. I wanted a bracelet, subdued/black look and water resistance. Happy to report, the Seiko SNZE83 has it. As a base to you the reader of this review, my favorite watch is the Rolex Submariner. For that kind of money, I could buy close to 40 of these Seikos. I don't have to worry about giving this watch a beating because of the price. The fact it is an automatic means, never buy a battery again! The bezel rotates in both directions and has direction symbols rather than numbers. The time, day and date were very easy to set. The bracelet as a whole is pretty good. The clasp is a little tinny, but once closed only you will know that. The illumination on the dial works very well. I put my Citizen Eco Drive next to this and this was far more luminescent. Overall this watch has a nice weight and size to it and for around $160.00, you can't do a whole lot better. This watch is part of the Seiko 5 series.
