I purchased oone of these titanium watches at full price a couple of years ago and have had nothing but trouble with the watchband. There is a small hinge of the locking clasp that has failed 3 times on this watch due to poor design. The seller replaced the part once, Seiko replaced in once (with the expressed written understanding that they would only replace it one time) and finally the third time this high quality watch sits on the shelf broken while my cheap Relic watch goes on and on.
Lesson learned: Check the quality/robustness of the watchband before buying!
